To join one of Cambridge's suceess stories in the design and manufacture of IC's for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi & GPS communication systems.
You will be responsible for consultant level designer within the analogue peripherals group and to carry out the design of next-generation embedded power supply management systems from system level through transistor level.
Key responsibilities include: researching new ideas to advance existing power-supply management systems, specify/implement at system level, create design specifications of individual sub cells, reviewing and specifying design work of other designers, design of parts from system level through to transistor level and possibly to physical level.
You'll need extensive experience in the field of integrated power management cells on system-level as well as on cell-level, the ability to define complete power management systems and oversee their cell-level implementation by others, an excellent knowledge of integrated analogue design, especially of switched-mode power supplies and linear regulators, preferably obtained on CMOS process. In addition you'll need a good understanding of system modelling/layout, power management systems as well as other IO-cells and ESD-protection
